Obituary

Sis. Lorene Odom was born on January 22, 1933 to the late December and Minnie Lee Allison in Panola County, Texas.

She attended school in Carthage, Texas.

At an early age she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church in Carthage, Texas. Later in life she joined Johnson Chapel CME Church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and First Assembly of God in Christ where she remained a member until her death.

At an early age she united in Holy matrimony to Herman Jeter, to this union thirteen children were born. She later married Leatrice (sugarman) Odom whom preceded her in death. On July 8, 2017 she drew her last breath and went to join Jesus with her parents December and Minnie Lee Allison, One son: Kenneth Jeter, and siblings: AD Allison, Dave Allison, Goree Allison, Willie Allison, Leatice Allison, Leroy Allison, and Gracie Allison.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons: Jerry (Mattie) Jeter, Lee (Nefertiti) Jeter of Carthage, Tx and Herman Ray Jeter (Eun Young Jung) of Killeen, Texas

 Nine daughters: Delois (Carlton) Wall, Alice Grant, Shirley (Vinson) Murphy,  Katherine Duson,  Louise Adams of Carthage, Texas, Patricia Alonzo of Alexandria, La Brenda(James) Williams of Carthage, Texas, Deborah Harris of Houston Tx and Sharonnica Smith of Carthage, Tx.

Three brothers: Rev Raymond (Regina) Allison of Dallas, Tx. Jessie Allison, and Tommy Allison of Carthage, Tx

One Sister: Earline McCoy of Carthage, Tx and three sister-n-laws Deary Allison and Eara Allison of Carthage, Tx. And Bertha Mae Allison of Dallas, Texas Lorene also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. (*)
